We built this practice around families, and that shapes nearly everything about how we work. It's common for us to see a younger child for an early evaluation, treat an older sibling with braces, and fit a parent for clear aligners — sometimes in the same week, sometimes on the same afternoon. Because we treat both children and adults, we're able to follow families over years rather than moments, and that continuity makes our recommendations better. We know how a jaw has grown, what a mouth looked like before the permanent teeth arrived, and what a patient's habits and schedule realistically allow.

Our philosophy is that good orthodontics begins with good information. A bite is not a single problem to be solved but a system — teeth, jaws, muscles, and growth all working together — and the right plan depends on understanding how those pieces interact for one specific person. We take the time to explain what we see, why it matters, and what happens if you treat it now versus later. Sometimes the honest answer is that a young patient simply needs to be watched while more permanent teeth come in. We'd rather tell you that than start treatment before it's useful.

Most people arrive with a handful of practical questions. How long will this take? Will it hurt? Can I do this without everyone noticing? How much will it cost, and can we spread it out? None of those are small questions, and none of them get brushed aside here. Your first visit is a free initial consultation, which means you can get real answers and a clear sense of direction before committing to anything.

From there, treatment is mapped out in plain terms. We offer traditional metal braces, which remain one of the most versatile and dependable tools in orthodontics, as well as clear and ceramic braces for patients who want a lower-profile look without changing how treatment works. For many patients, clear aligners, including Invisalign, are a strong fit — removable, easy to clean around, and often appealing to adults and responsible teens. When a bite needs correction beyond tooth movement alone, we use appliances such as expanders, the Herbst, and the Carriere Motion Appliance. For younger children who lose a baby tooth early, space maintainers help hold room for the permanent tooth on its way in.

Keeping offices in both Easley and Greenville is a practical decision on behalf of families — it shortens drives, makes school-day appointments more manageable, and gives working parents options.

We also welcome patients who arrive mid-journey. If you've moved to the Upstate partway through treatment, we accept orthodontic transfer patients and will review where things stand before picking up the plan. And if you finished braces years ago somewhere else and your retainer cracked or disappeared, we can make you a new one.
